Following the completion of the $32 million Safety National headquarters expansion project in May 2021, Gershman Commercial Real Estate has taken on an expanded role with our long-time client. In addition to property management services, the team led by Elizabeth Meyer and Meghan Perkins will now also provide facility management for the 270,000 sq. ft. headquarters and nine regional offices in major cities across the US.
The relationship between the two firms dates back to 1994 and the engagement to handle leasing and management of Safety National’s original office building in the Woodlands Business Park. When Safety National moved to their current location at 1832 Schuetz Rd in Maryland Heights, Gershman Commercial served as development manager for both the original building completed in 2008, as well as the recent expansion. “It has been a pleasure working with such an entrepreneurial company over the past 27 years. Overseeing the 145,000 sq. ft. headquarters expansion has been a privilege,” said Bruce Brophy, Executive Vice President & COO.
Safety National is a provider of specialty insurance and reinsurance. With a current employee count of 650+ nationwide, the company anticipates continued growth over the next several years.
