Chris Fox has been actively involved in the commercial real estate business since 1992. Chris joined Cushman & Wakefield of Missouri, Inc. in 1998 and was elevated to Managing Director in 2004. In 2005, Chris played an instrumental role in the creation of Gateway Commercial, which resulted from the combination of Cushman & Wakefield of Missouri, Inc. and St. Louis-based Summit Realty Group where he served as a Partner and Managing Director. Gateway operated as an independently owned firm and member of the Cushman & Wakefield Alliance. While at Gateway, Chris also serviced on the Cushman & Wakefield Alliance executive committee.

Chris joined Gershman Commercial Real Estate in 2013 as the Executive Vice President of Transactions and Advisory Services, where he was directly responsible for all facets of Gershman’s brokerage, transaction and advisory services division. He was elevated to President and CEO in 2019.

Chris brings a wide range of experience to Gershman Commercial including professionally managing over 2.5 million square feet of office, industrial and retail space in the St. Louis market. His experience also includes lease negotiation and advisory services for both tenant and landlord representation as well as investment sales of both single commercial properties and portfolio’s exceeding 400,000 square feet. At Gershman, he was actively involved in the acquisition of over $160 million of investment property through the firm’s investment subsidiary, Gershman Commercial Equities.
