Each tenant is responsible for the
procurement and installation of their voice and data systems.
AT&T is responsible for
providing the telephone service to the building and will assign your
telephone number. You will
select the location of each phone and convey this information to the
telephone company or via your designated voice and data
representative. It will be
the responsibility of the telephone company to install the lines and
run the cable within your space. Your
telephone system company will install the jacks during the
installation of the system and they can act as a liaison between you
and AT&T to ensure that the system will function properly.
The representative of AT&T and
the installer of the individual system you select are usually aware of
the building locations for installation hook-up and that access to
those areas must be arranged first with the management office.
Upon
move out, it is the tenant’s responsibility to remove all voice and
data cabling.
