Fire
-
RESCUE
and EVACUATE anyone in immediate danger.

DIAL
911 and report the fire. Give EXACT LOCATION.

CLOSE
DOORS to contain the fire.

EXTINGUISH;
use nearest fire extinguisher to prevent fire from spreading when
appropriate.

DO
NOT USE ELEVATORS!

STAY
CALM and QUIET, WALK TO NEAREST EXIT.

WAIT
FOR FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS FROM THE FIRE DEPARTMENT.
Note:
The above procedures are greatly simplified and may not be
sufficient to serve larger tenants.
We encourage you to have a fire safety meeting annually in
accordance with local regulations and to familiarize all employees
with the location of fire exits and extinguishers.

information regarding fire safety, or give demonstrations of how to us
a fire extinguisher. Let
